This is the complete data-protection statement and legal notice for vectorio.io, operated by Vectorio GmbH, Berlin. It governs this website. Our products process your data on infrastructure you control.

01 · Company

Data protection at a glance

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it confidentially, in accordance with statutory data-protection regulations and this policy. Personal data is collected on this website only on a voluntary basis wherever possible and is not disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Data transmission over the internet (e.g. by email) can have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

03 · Server data

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device and time of the server request. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website. Logs are retained only as long as necessary for security purposes and then deleted.

04 · Cookies

Cookies

This site uses cookies only where technically necessary. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies. You can configure your browser to inform you about cookies, allow them only in individual cases, exclude them generally and delete them automatically when closing the browser.

05 · Contact

Contact requests

If you contact us by email or through a form, the details you provide are stored so that we can process your enquiry and respond to follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We reply, then archive. We do not sell or share your message, and we do not use it to train models. Data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

06 · Products

PROTOR & INDAGO

Our products are local-first; the website and the products are separate from a data-protection standpoint. PROTOR processes your data on infrastructure you control; Vectorio has no access to customer payloads unless you explicitly enable a support tunnel. INDAGO runs entirely on your device; the documents you index stay on your machine. Any telemetry is opt-in and aggregate-only.

07 · Your rights

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right, free of charge, to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the processing: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any right, contact hello@vectorio.io. We respond within 30 days.

Supervisory authority
