Connectype · built on PROTOR
Address books in sync. With proof.
Connectype keeps address books, directories, users and groups in sync — inside your company and with your partners. Microsoft, Google, Apple, LDAP, CSV and XML; every write previewed, a delete cap protecting the target and a signed audit trail for each run.
10,000 objects. 27.6 seconds.
A live run from LDAP into Active Directory, on a notebook.
Live LDAP → Active Directory test, July 2026; delete cap set to 1 with 5 deletes pending.
Every change under control.
Preview before every write
A full dry run on a clone shows exactly what will be inserted, updated, deleted or left alone.
Safety caps
A delete limit stops the run before it starts when too much would change. The target stays as it was.
Safe delta sync
New, changed and removed entries are synced as deltas — a run with no changes makes no writes.
Data by e-mail
Partners and subsidiaries send their CSV or XML export by encrypted e-mail; Connectype picks it up, checks it and syncs it.
Exchange-correct addresses
proxyAddresses, x500, targetAddress and legacyExchangeDN are rewritten the way Exchange expects.
Groups across forests
Group memberships are mapped to the right members in the target, including groups with thousands of members.
Mapping Studio
Map and transform attributes with expressions and a live preview; seven templates to start from.
Audit bundle
Every run lands in an append-only history; the auditor bundle carries signed seals and an offline verifier.
Connects to your directories.
Runs on your own servers, on a schedule within your maintenance window, with an HTML report and e-mail alerts after every run. Local accounts, API keys and roles; secrets encrypted at rest.
Where teams use it.
After a merger
Two companies, one address book: contacts, users and groups of both sides, kept in step.
Several forests or tenants
Directories that must stay separate share a consistent global address list.
IT service providers
One tool for many customers' directories, with a report and an audit trail per run.
Next: the partner hub. Address books between companies.
For suppliers, customers and partners of any size: share address books once, keep them in sync, with encryption and a record of every change.
Encrypted upload
Companies upload their address data encrypted to the hub.
A public key for partners
Partners receive your public key and send their data encrypted to you.
Shared address books in sync
Partner address books stay current on both sides, with a signed record of every change.
More address books
The Mac's local address book and Entra ID write-back join the connectors.
